Earth work

Earth work cutting or filling

The amount of earthworks including rock, soil or unformed parts of the earth's surface is moving or engineering works are created through processing. Land and moved to another location for a purpose which can be formed into a desired shape. including earthworks excavation and filling of the machine or digging backfill.Types

Type of excavated material can be classified by:

excavation of topsoil
Soil
Rock excavation
Muck Excavation - it usually contains excess water and suitable soil
Unclassified Excavation - any combination of the types of materials
Excavation may be classified by purpose:

Stripping
Road excavation
Drainage excavation or structure
Excavation of the moment
Channel excavation
Foundation excavation
Borrow excavation
dredge drilling
Underground excavation
The use of civil engineering
General earthworks, roads, railway beds, causeways, dams, levees, canals, and berms are included. Other general topography of the site to reconfigure earthworks land grading, or are to stabilize slopes.

Military Use
In military engineering, earthworks, more specifically, fortifications were built of clay types. The soil is not very strong, but strong structure to produce large quantity, it can be quite affordable. Examples of digging moats of older fortifications, sod walls, clod and Bailey castles, and include hill forts. Modern examples include ditches and berms.

Equipment
To millions of cubic meters - the amount of material to be moved due to heavy construction equipment is typically used. Thus loader excavator construction, production trucks, grader, bulldozer, excavator, dragline excavation and as (Fresno) scraper and other earth-moving machines was revolutionized by the development.
